Description
The Bohemian Dress or Top
With the Sorolla dress or top sewing pattern, you can create an easy-to-sew garment that can be adapted into a top, a long dress, or a short dress, with or without sleeves (long, short, three-quarter, or cap sleeves), depending on your style and needs.
The bodice features bare shoulders or optional sleeves, along with a button placket at the center front. The lined finish ensures clean, professional results while remaining easy to sew (yes, really—especially with the video tutorial guiding you every step of the way ).
For fabrics, we recommend using a fabric with a width of 140 cm (to avoid too many seams in the ruffle sections). Choose lightweight and flowy fabrics, as this design includes a lot of gathers—thicker fabrics may create a bulky, less flattering effect.
Perfect for sewing again and again for your summer wardrobe!
A step-by-step video tutorial will guide you through making the Sorolla model.
The pattern is available in sizes EU 34 to 52. As a general rule, you can choose your usual ready-to-wear size, or refer to the size guide to be sure.
